    Our High Standards

In order to maintain our strong focus on high-quality resident care Parkview Nursing Centre has a series of committees that help ensure that the views of residents, family and staff are heard and acted upon.

    Professional Advisory Board:
Comprised of the facility’s management team, Public Health representatives, a Pharmacy Consultant, the facility Medical Director and Nursing Supervisors, the Board meets to discuss all issues involving the medical and care services for our residents.

    Quality Improvement Committee
Our Quality team works together to ensure the highest levels of service.   The team meets regularly to establish our improvement goals and success.

We regularly track Resident and family satisfaction and are proud of our high outcomes.

    Family Council:
Our volunteer Family Council consists of family members, former residents’ family members and other volunteers who encourage input into care and services provided to residents. This important group also serves as an advocate for residents – speaking for those who may be unable to speak for themselves.

    Residents’ Council:
The Residents’ Council, whose members are all residents, elected by their peers, deal with general issues and, in many cases, make suggestions for improvements. Monthly meetings often include families and friends as guests.  The Residents’ Council also serves as the Welcoming Committee for new residents at Parkview Nursing Centre.
